They never cleaned our room, neither change the towels, the pictures look way better of what actually the hotel is like.

My kids were terrified. There was a woman screaming near our first room. They moved us to another room. There were people fighting outside.

My stay at the Embassy generally was good, however, the room was cold not warm and I requested an extra blanket, and it took them two days to get it to me by that time. I only had one night left so that was not very good, other than that, the day was OK.

It was located near Tenderloin and Soma, and that is crazy place. Do not recommend for single travellers.

Comfortable room, very spacious, bathroom is small. Very loud early morning, rattling of doors but otherwise good for price. Area feels safe.

The Embassy Hotel is run down and unsafe, in an awful neighborhood and with imsufficient safety protocols. The room appeared clean at first glance, but the bed itself and the blankets smelled like dried and burnt feces and urine, and I could feel debris and critters (maybe fleas or bedbugs or scabies) crawling beneath my skin. To make matters worse, there was a room filled with gangbangers having a rowdy gathering in the room right next to me, and the night attendant was dead asleep when I got up and hightailed out of the place at 5:30am.

This hotel was dirty! First thing I saw at front reception was a dirty syringe on the counter!! When I got inside the room it was dreadful. Paint cracking off the walls. Dirty carpet and bathroom. Old mattress. I Tried to switch rooms but they denied me! Memorial weekend so everything around area was booked so I decided to tough it out. Before going to sleep I noticed a hole in box spring. I was terrified to sleep. I always check for bed bugs but didn’t see an actual bug. BUT when I woke up in the morning I had BITES all across my stomach and arms. Do not stay here!!

The hotel is clean and the bed is very comfortable.
