Excellent
Scottsdale Old Town is a pleasant place to shop and dine. It's very spread out so it's not easy to see everything without a lot of walking or some driving. I would visit here if interested in shopping for Western jewelry, pottery, not for fine dining

Scottsdale is a beautiful area - very clean, and we felt safe at all times. The resort does not have many amenities close by as in dining but down to Old Town tons of options to explore and the free shuttle is awesome - drivers were amazing!

It's a lively town despite the heat. Lots of people bar hopping in old town Scottsdale. Many shopping opportunities for jewelry and other things. They have a farmers market in old town also on Saturdays at certain times of the year.

I am impressed with how clean the city is. It is very well taken care of. We did a lot of walking during early hours of the morning and late evening and it was extremely safe and quiet. Wouldn't mind moving there.

"A Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommended
Our stay was fantastic from start to finish. The front desk staff were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. We arrived early in the day after a long travel day, intending to store our luggage until check-in. Without hesitation—and before we even asked—the staff member kindly offered to check us in immediately if a room was available. Fortunately, one was ready, and we were able to rest and recharge right away, which made a huge difference.
The room itself was spotless, and the beds were incredibly comfortable—perfect for unwinding after a day of travel.
The breakfast buffet exceeded expectations, with a wide selection of both hot and cold items. It was far better than the standard complimentary breakfast you find at many hotels. The dining area was also impressively clean and well-maintained.
The hotel is located in a very safe and quiet area, with several shops and restaurants within a 10-minute walk. For additional dining and shopping options, Kierland Commons and Scottsdale Quarter are just a short Uber ride away—typically around $9 USD. Another great nearby option is Desert Ridge Marketplace (around $12 USD by Uber), which features stores like Nike, Ulta, Kohl’s, Sephora, Nordstrom Rack, and more.
We would absolutely stay here again thanks to the excellent location, peaceful surroundings, high level of cleanliness, and most importantly, the outstanding service from the staff.

"Beautiful hotel and the staff were great! Pool was so nice and loved that you could order with the QR code right to your lounger. Food and drinks were excellent! Only downside to the pool is it is a small area so you need to be there in time to get a lounger and umbrella. All the food from both restaurants were so good! "
"It was perfect in every way. I want to stay forever.
The staff was lovely, the rooms and public spaces were clean, beautifully decorated and relaxing. The food at the restaurants and pool was delicious. There is yoga every morning at 8am and plenty to do on property that it would have been easy to never leave. But leaving was so easy with the hotel transportation…which was so fun! Highly recommend and I can’t wait to go back. "
