"The room and facilities were very good.
That was spacious, clean and well maintained.
The cooking wares, air conditioning, bedings, furnitures, washing machine, drying machine and all other utilities were very good.
The wifi was ok (a bit slower than what is usually does in the city area).
Parking area was nice.
No cleaning service was provided during the stay and no extra plastic bag for rubbish bins were provided, and so I would recommend either the host would provide extra big plastic bags to...

"The staff was friendly. The room had everything we needed. However, things were very old, stained, ripped. The price was great."

"Very convenient to ferry, a short bus ride away from the train station. Good breakfast, coin laundry, amazing view. Large room, hotel staff very helpful. Clean and comfortable. "

"Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and a lovely open-air bath with a great atmosphere. The morning power walking activity was a fantastic way to start the day. Only downside—due to a recent landslide, the usual forest view is currently partially available."

"The hotel is very large with many guests. Our room itself is spacious. Onsen is comfortable but there's not much view. It's a quiet area, besides the Onsen Jinku, there's not much to see. But overall, the experience is good."

"The Good: The hot spring baths on the 5th floor (inside and outside) are really worth the challenge in getting to the hotel. There is good hiking around the town although the info available from the tourist office is quite limited for those speaking English.
The Not So Good: The room I had, although quite spacious, was not very practical. A single thin futon bed was in the middle of a otherwise largely empty space. There is a very low traditional Japanese table with pillows to sit on, but no...

Shiro Amakusa Memorial Hall is just one of the landmarks located 4.5 mi (7.2 km) from central Kamiamakusa, so you might want to stop by for a few pics during your trip.
"Convenient location, just 3 mins walk to the shopping street with many restaurants options. The tatami room is very nice! Parking is not quite friendly as it doesn’t allow to drive out once we parked, so please take this into consideration when you book this. "
"Toilet is too tiny to fit one person if you’re a little bit big. Check out time is 10am, while the other comparable hotels I stay in Kumamoto is 11am."
"The toilet bidet and the room light was not working. The staff offered a room change but we had already unpacked so we declined. But we did not expect the aircon was also not working and we opened one of the windows for fresh air but the noise from the rain heating the roofs made it worse! Did they give us the worst room? Overall, we did not sleep well at all."
"This is a capsule hostel so the rooms arent very big all the rooms dont actully have roofs and the walls are paper thin so if u have a snorer next door u may not be able to get to sleep they do offer earplugs and free toothbrushes so so that a bonus "

"The hotel had hot springs for the guest to use and the room was large, plenty of space to walk around which is not typical for most Japanese hotels. Room also had plenty of storage space and even had a patio looking over the waterfront. It's not a clear view of the waterfront but it's something. "
"The room was very clean and the lake view was beautiful. The service attitude was very good, but English communication was difficult. There was a sewer smell in the bathroom of our room. The parking lot was very convenient downstairs. But you can walk to the shopping area. "
"We enjoyed our stay. Traditional Japanese breakfast came with the room. The bed was hard, but that typical for Japanese hotels. Facility had parking for our vehicle. Overall our stay was nice."
"Good location with 5-8min walk from bus terminal. The unit is compact with all amenities inlcuding a small kitchen, full size fridge and washing machine. Condition of cooking utensil is excellent. Very efficient communication with the host.
The only down side is that the heating is not very efficient. I stayed in a not-so-cold day (10 degrees), it still take hours to warm up the room, to an extent that i dont feel freezing, but still I need to put on my sweater to keep myself warm."
"Very convenient to ferry, a short bus ride away from the train station. Good breakfast, coin laundry, amazing view. Large room, hotel staff very helpful. Clean and comfortable. "
