"Well overpriced for what it is. Good location but not lakefront. Apartment was a good size and comfortable but there were quite a few maintenance issues, especially in the bathroom. "We stayed in one of the new refurbished rooms with a view of the lake and it was absolutely perfect! Ideal to have two beds when travelling with a child, very clean, warm and comfortable. Beautiful bathroom and excellent on site facilities. The lounge with the cosy fire was so nice and breakfast was huge and delicious! Definitely don't let negative reviews put you off. Obviously we don't know what the older rooms are like, but I cannot fault the refurbished room. "

No kitchen in this unit vs the other ones in the building which have. You can make a cuppa and reheat in microwave though. Good medium firm bed which I appreciated.
Also note to the provider that through hotels.com there was no emailed key code provided - and I was lucky that there was a staff memeber on site that could let me in. I think I have used through Airbnb previously where comms were sent on pre checkin.
