"A beautiful mountain lodge style hotel. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. Great beds. Liked 1st level opening onto grass fields & outdoor chairs. Restaurant was fantastic. Two good meals with spectacular view. Only glitch was a very unfriendly lady at check in. Felt like she was annoyed that we were taking up her time. Easy car parking. Loved it!"

"The property was very well appointed and maintained. Our suite was very nice, quiet and comfortable. We did not have a chance to try the hotel restaurant, although it looked very nice and had an appealing menu. The rooftop bar had many lounge chairs snd tables with seating, all of which offered a spectacular panoramic view of Main Street, Lake Placid and Mirror Lake. The hotel could greatly increase the foot traffic of the fabulous venue if they expanded their drinks menu which is limited, and offered small plate appetizers in addition to drinks. More experienced bartenders would also be a boost...the Apperol Spritz drink that I had that cost $17 had was undrinkable."
