On airplane route so quite noisey, no tea/coffee/ water facilities in room, nil fridge, breakfast minimal with no variety only hot drink option nil water and only 1 hr from 8-9am - started late sometimes as well, pillows had mildew on, top blanket dirty, tidy room but on inspection dirty, the view was amazing! Staff friendly but actually don’t understand English well, tried asking activities in area many times but no help even with translator. I wouldn’t stay here again.

This hotel was worse than terrible. It was dirty, smelly, and completely misrepresented. The photos on Expedia are clearly filtered and do not reflect the actual condition of the property. I have photos that prove how filthy and unsafe this place is, and I will post them if the platform allows it.
The toilets were old, yellow, and visibly dirty. The room door did not even fit the frame properly—the top was open, and the bottom of the door was smaller than the frame, making the room feel extremely unsafe.
I arrived on December 11, 2025, and left the same day—within 30 minutes of checking in—because the conditions were unacceptable and unsafe. We did not stay at the hotel at all.
I requested a refund, but it was refused by the hotel. I sent the photos to Expedia so they could see the true condition of this place, yet I was told that the hotel still refused to issue a refund.
I have traveled the world and have used Expedia for all my trips, but I have never experienced anything this terrible. This is by far the worst hotel I have ever encountered. Expedia should be aware of the quality of this property, as it should not be listed in its current condition.

El personal fue amable siempre, la habitación limpia. Sin embargo se pueden mejorar algunas cosas, al llegar tarde mucho en encontrar la entrada al hotel, no hay nombres ni señales visibles, tampoco había nadie a la vista para el check in, tuve que dar varias vueltas hasta que vi a alguien, las almohadas y colchones ya se sienten desgastados, y tampoco cuentan con internet en las habitaciones, solo hay una zona de wifi en la alberca.

Fantastisk udsigt
Et stille og sikkert område lidt op af bjergsiden tæt på lufthavnen. Fantastisk udsigt fra teressen, ok pool og søde mennesker. Værelserne er store, men lidt out-dated interiør på værelserne. Det gjorde ikke os noget. Prisen taget i betragtning, et ganske godt sted og et sted jeg vil tage til igen hvis jeg bare skulle slappe af. Ligger i gå afstand, dog lidt kuperet, til en fantastisk restaurant og indkøbsmuligheder.
Cons. Der var lidt byggearbejde i gang da vi var der. Ikke det helt store, men man kunne godt have oplyst om dette inden.
Der er fly hen over den del af byen, da lufthavnen ligger tæt på. Det larmer jo en hel del, men er som sådan jo hurtigt overstået.

If you’re looking to feel what it’s like to live in Costa Rica then this place is for you! It’s a property that has been turned into 14 rooms and it sits at the top of a hill overlooking all of the San José valley and the view is breathtaking!! Super quiet and very relaxing place, Lino, the property manager was great and helped us with everything we needed. This place was everything we wanted on our trip and we will be definitely coming back!

Aloha from Hawaii……
Person checked us in on her mobile phone….I listened to the instructions in English…..asked questions…..answers from the phone. Parked at the bottom of the hill….front of the hotel…walked up a steep road to our large suite…..full kitchen…living room….two bedrooms….balcony….large patio with hammock. Typical breakfasts….two tiered swimming pool…water was cold….long deck to view the city. Very very friendly workers.

Idea para un viaje de un dia, solo.
Para una estadia rapida, ya que se encuentra cerca del aeropuerto, es muy buena opcion, tienen un mirador sorprendente, sin embargo, la habitacion tenia un olor extrano, como si fuera de humedad, estan en remodelacion entonces ciertas partes se ve un poco descuidado, llegamos en sabado y la piscina se pudo usar hasta el lunes.

amazing relaxing view
What a great location. High up above the city great accomidations high recommend. Warm hosts, with one English speaking host. You have to taxi to get to town or grocery but UBER works great and is $5 to get to the closes town and $12 to get to downtown San Jose. Two resturants within walking distance. Great weekend get a way for relaxaion.

It was an absolutely incredible view with excellent service provided by management. They allowed us to store our suitcases while we waited for our transportation to pick us up. The staff was very attentive and responded immediately to any requests. My son was able to enjoy pool. I was pleasantly surprised that even though the unit did not have air conditioning.it was pleasantly cool at all times because of the breeze in the altitude that our apartment sit at. It was an incredible stay and as I told the management, I will definitely be back.
