This is much more of a motel than a hotel. It's pretty sketchy looking outside, but I will say that the rooms were very clean and spacious. There was a large sink/vanity counter outside of the bathroom which is convenient when you have two people getting ready at the same time. The a/c was great and there was a lot of space for clothing and suitcases.
The Thunderbird is quite a distance from the strip, so everywhere we went was a $20-$30 Uber trip each way. (although it was a holiday weekend, so that may have been inflated) Also, Uber drivers don't know where to pick up at this hotel since the lobby is really hidden, so we just walked to the Viva Las Vegas chapel next door for pickups.
The website says there is a bar on property, but it was never open while we were there. The Shalimar Hotel is just a couple doors down and has a great restaurant, so we ate there for lunch each day.
The pool was very nice, and they offered parking if you are driving.
Overall, not great, but certainly not a bad place to stay on a budget.
