Not overwhelming like the Strip casino hotels

Like the rest of downtown Vegas, this hotel is not overwhelming like the casino hotels on the Strip or the Strip itself. Professional staff; facility is in good shape considering its age. Short walk to all of the downtown entertainment and dining. I have to recommend staying here if you don't want to spend an arm and a leg.

Convenient location. Located within a few minute walk to Fremont street. Hotel was pleasant, but the neighborhood was very rough. Lots of homeless people and an unsecured parking lot. Didn't have any problems, but a lot of people trippin on drugs and walking around like zombies.

Overall the stay was great. The hotel was built in the 40s so the side of the second floor that we were staying on didn't have working AC but the front desk gave us a fan. Centrally located in relation to the strip, walking distance to Fremont Street experience, ample free parking right across the street right next to where the pool is located. Staff was great, coffee and ice provided in lobby for guests which is a nice perk. Would stay again

Not bad but not the best.

You get what you pay for. The staff were friendly and check in was easy. The room itself definitely needs some work. There were cracks in the shower floor and a cigarette burn on the comforter. We also found a spider in the bathroom and a few gnats. The hotel was quiet for the most part except being close to the mantis that plays music and erupts fire. Would I stay there again? Probably not. Have I stayed at worse? Absolutely.
