This is a frequent stop for us because it’s reliably clean and very well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful, and remember you so you feel like friends. The property is in a beautiful location and has a resort vibe, with a beautiful large pool.

They don’t offer daily housekeeping of your room, however the room is clean enough when I arrived, the AC worked well and the big pool is wonderful in the desert heat. They have one of the biggest pools for any Motel 6 property and there is very nice landscaping with mature trees and grass around the property. I prefer this S PS location over their downtown location which has a much smaller and uninviting pool located in a parking lot surrounded by vast amounts of concrete and zero trees.

I love this place for its location and large pool with mature trees and green grass. Even though it’s bad for this water deprived desert to have such large expanses of grass and shade trees, I do enjoy the well maintained outdoor greenery and very generously sized pool. This property is a throwback to Palm Springs motel culture of the 60s. The rooms are definitely basic with inexpensive finishes, but I dont find it shabby either. Cleaning could be a little more detailed and be aware there is no daily housekeeping. They only clean rooms between stays. This definitely a budget experience, but enjoy its pluses, and dont let the minuses bug you. BTW, this Motel 6 on S Palm Canyon is better than the other one in downtown PS which is just a building surrounded by a parking lot.

We’ve stayed here so many times traveling with our cat. This property is very well managed and maintained. Juan, the manager, has transformed this property to budget resort status. The absolute best Motel 6 we have ever stayed with. We were here before with previous management and had a different experience, but Juan has really turned this place around. Excellent staff, including Amanda at the desk, and Philippe, the head of maintenance. The room was comfortable and you can tell they wash all the bedding, including the pillows. They consistently have some of the best rates in the valley for what you get, and are walkable to some of the best restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores and even entertainment venues. If you are coming to Palm Springs with pets, or perhaps on a budget, this is my first choice for traveling with a pet to Palm Springs.

This property is very well managed. It’s clean, safe and located in a wonderful area that’s close to coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores and just a few minutes to downtown Palm Springs. The staff here, from Juan, the wonderful manager, Amber, the main front office clerk, and Philippe, the head of maintenance, are so friendly and accommodating. You feel as though they’re your friends! It’s a resort setting with a great pool area, and magnificent views. It’s the absolute best Motel 6 in which I have ever stayed (we travel with our cat, and most places won’t take her, so we’ve stayed at many Motel 6 properties.). We really love this place.
