It was a very peaceful and quite. Rooms were clean, and in walking distance of everything we wanted to look at and go too. Very nice staff, our private balcony was really nice as well. I loved hearing the river throughout the night. Very lovely will recommend!

Beds were comfortable. The room was a little worn in some areas and smelled of woodsmoke from the fireplace, but it was clean, and the bathroom appeared recently renovated. The balcony overlooking the creek was lovely, though the chairs needed a pillow to be tolerable. Breakfast was great with lots of delicious options. And the free trolley stops right in front of the hotel.

This property is amazing. I have been staying here since the 1980s. Each room has a private balcony that overlooks Roaring Fork Creek. The ladies at check-in and check-out were great. If you ever wanted a place just a short walk from the parkway, give this lodge a chance.
