I spent two days at this hotel in Port Clinton, Ohio, and it was one of the best hotel stays I've had in a long time.
The room was spotless, with beautiful water views and wildlife. Breakfast was very good as well.
What truly stood out was Holly. She went above and beyond her duties and made my stay extra special with her kindness and care. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

Delightful stay, in town for a family wedding. Stay was enjoyable. Only thing that was a small nuisance was the bathroom door, along with the main entry door to our room had to be forcibly closed.

I liked that it was a big, spacious and bright room. The room had a kitchen area and a round table. I did not like that there was only one chair for the table as we were a family of 6 (2 adults, 4 children).

Under Construction
We were unable to stay at the hotel. When we arrived, we were told that the hotel was not open for business. The was clearly remodeling and/or construction in progress and we were not notified by the hotel or by Hotel.com about the situation. Thank goodness we were able to get another room for our stay. I was travelling with my three grandkids who are 16, 12 and 10 and we had just driven three hours for our vacation. This is by far, the worst experience we have had in our six years of these trips.

I booked 2 rooms well in advance of our stay and requested adjoining rooms but was not accommodated. The mini refrigerators in both rooms didn't work and one of the main reasons we picked this hotel was the swimming pool. When we checked in we were told the pool was out of order. We wanted to sit outside in the eveing and were told the firepit would be turned on but it was broken. Many of the amenities that were advertised on the Hotels.com were not available. Very disappointing.
