This place was incredible and perfect for a relaxing weekend! It is about 20 minutes away from the main city center so it’s quiet and secluded. Right on the beach! Food and drinks were good. Perfect place to just sun bathe by the pool.

We loved Casa Yuma. It’s a small hotel away from everything but just a taxi ride away to Zicatela restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful to us. Always respectful. We only have suggestions: 1) have bathrobes and slippers in the rooms 2) have a self service water location for refill 3) have a towel kiosk so we can take them from there rather than having to ask the restaurant folks for them 4) add to the breakfast menu like Mexican bread: concha’s, etc… Thank you to the entire team!!!

Amazing luxury experience right on the beach. The service, food and amenities are all outstanding. This location is 20 minutes outside of the action of Puerto Escondido but we had no problem staying put for our 3 night stay. You also will have the beach almost to yourself. What a gem.

Very relaxing cozy boutique hotel on a beautiful beach. Beautiful nature:where the desert meets the ocean. I enjoyed my morning walks, watching the surfers, the sun rises and the sunsets. Some of the friendliest staff I have ever encountered. The hotel is very small by now, but super clean, very minimalist architecture, calm and relaxing… we were only around 4 couples for the same days, and the attention was very personalized. My husband was stomach sick, and they prepared him special food, it was so nice! The room with terrace was pretty good to watch the starts during the night.

Brand new hotel (started operations May 2024) the Staff is extremely helpful in all positions, BUT the restaurant service is very limited - great quality and display- but VERY VERY SLOW even for Mexican Beach Standards. The kitchen can take 30 minutes to deliver basics, even when there are just a couple of tables utilized. It can easy be the BEST HOTEL in Puerto Escondido if Manuel and his team focus on the Kitchen and offer a slightly greater variety of food, and improve their Kitchen operation, very easy tweaks and adjustments can make a significant difference in the experience.
