We loved this place! Very charming and beautiful, highly recommend for families but not necessarily for couples or friends. Only things missing from the hotel: a gym and a bit more of a daytime vibe/activities (Yoga, workout classes, etc) and maybe some entertainment. The venue closed down very early every night, so perfect for those looking for a quieter experience. Although the location is incredible and full in nature: we had monkeys visit us everyday! :)

Clean room and bathroom, good choice of breakfast, nice location and pool. Private access to beach. Parking was limited but they always found a spot for us. Walkable beach is rocky, just wear water shoes and you should be fine. Decent restaurant.

Room was spacious with beautiful ocean view, just like the picture in the ads. The monkeys coming up to our patio was an unexpected extra. Golf cart driver was always around to offer trips up the STEEP hills from beach access, restaurant, and pools to guest rooms, though we preferred getting the workout. Pools were glorious. Beach pretty nice, though I'd recommend the better beaches inside park or outside park entrance. Staff went out of their way to get us a national park tour after an initial miscommunication canceled our reservation. Staff were wonderful all around. My only complaint is that the area around the hotel was not walkable and it was difficult to get to the nearby restaurants and music clubs without a taxi.

Beautiful views and nice beach access (you will have to make the trek up and down the stairs). Breakfast was tasty and offered plenty of opportunity to see the local monkeys. Staff did an excellent job of keeping them away from people.

Bathroom was terrible. Flushing toilet was a challenge and requested maintenance did not solve the issue. Poor maintenance of toilet, sink faucets bent and spray all over. Very dark tile and poor lighting - almost impossible to put on make-up, etc. Breakfast buffet had a lot of options but very average in quality. TV sound was terrible. Room clean. Gorgeous views. Staff was helpful driving guests up and down from facilities to room since hotel is on a very steep incline (their pleasant nature would be the highlight). Overall, just an average hotel with a beautiful view.
