The room was minuscule and claustrophobic without any windows the staff was indifferent all the chairs cushions were totally wet and although I hosted a week in advance I had to leave after one night and find a new place to stay. I wrote management to request a partial refund and had no response.

The place is fine, it’s clean and has a good location. The front desk staff is a little moody. We booked a 2 x queen beds room, but received 1 bed to share. The place was fully booked so could not change it to what I had reserved. We were also supposed to get a welcome drink, but it was never offered. Zero pressure in the sink, so have to brush your teeth and wash you hands/face in the shower. The cleaning staff was super nice and the room very clean. Kitchen staff was also nice, but moody. Direct access to the beach and free parking is also a great plus. Not sure if I would stay again, but for the price it’s pretty fair.

BEWARE! the pictures are not reality. No safely, lights going off and being left in the dark, no management on site or invested in making it functional, sewage smell from the bathroom, no windows to air and non-stop noise outside. Left and had to find another hotel as it was inhabitable and couldn’t breath. The poor lady trying to work as as the waitress and receptionist couldn’t do anything. The worst place I booked and far from what is portrayed and a health and safety hazard. Read the other negative reviews and make your decision with than in mind.

This is a unique property if you are looking for something different. Each room is a separate "igloo" so it is very quiet. The grounds are very pretty and quaint. The lobby/restaurant are one space which create a very homy atmosphere. The food was excellent and the bartender was fantastic. The only thing missing in the room was a microwave but the space is limited. There is a mini fridge which is nice. The walk down to the beach is flat and easy. Manual Antonio is very hilly so it is nice to be able to walk so easily to the beach. I would recommend this place!

We loved this place! Stayed on a family vacation with me and my 13 year-old, and it was great - appropriate for couples, families, etc. The pool was great, the location on the beach was awesome. The igloos were so cool - cozy, but enough room to move around and hang out. Breakfast at the hotel was delish. We would highly recommend to anyone going to Manuel Antonio!!
