Hitel is a lovely old building with nice, well equipped rooms. Unfortunately, the menu prices were a bit steep which isn't a problem when the food is excellent, but we found ours not so with various parts microvaved. Friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel and at the swimming pool. It was lovely to see locals there as well — a small glimpse of daily life and normality in a turbulent world. Some parts of the hotel feel a bit worn, and the shower had some mold, but this didn’t detract too much from the overall stay, as I used the facilities at the pool instead. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
