We stayed at this hotel because of the option to hire e-bikes at the hotel. They are great quality and the neighbourhood is very cycle friendly lots of small roads. Best to take a taxi from the airport as not as easy to access by public transport. The breakfast is catering for Japanese taste but I would have liked some more options including fruit, muesli and breads. We have been impressed there are many good artisan bread shops opening up around cities in Japan. They are very popular! We found amazing bread at a local market!

It was an okay stay. We had breakfast one day and it was mostly japanese. Not the best for picky eaters or children. It was about 20 minutes from kyoto station and you had to take a bus or walk far to restaurants and stores. The room was clean enough, but outdated. Aircondition was nice and television was new. The ice machine and laundry was great and the receptionists were sweet. Not great in english though. It was a good space in the room and they had alot of things you could use like hairdryer, fridge etc

I wish they put as much effort into the rooms as the lobby, the lobby is beautiful. The floors were a bit dirty and the walls. The staff wasn’t too helpful, great location for some things like Niju castle and Fushimi Inari. Overall lobby 5 stars, rooms three stars, staff three to four depending on who you ask.
