The room was spotless and comfortable, and beautifully designed. The staff were warm, friendly and welcoming. The views were stunning. The location couldn’t have been more perfect. Serena helped sketch out different hiking plans for us each day, based on Weather and our interests. She drilled down to the most specific details to ensure we knew how to get around and accomplish our goals. I’d also like to call out Barbara in food service. "We loved staying at this hotel. It’s a 25 minute drive from Cortina city but the location is very lovely and quaint. The staff (servers especially) are wonderful and my husband said the pizza was the best he had in Italy (we ate pizza every day for 2 weeks). They offer gelato and there’s a cold spring water fountain across the road from the hotel, but if you’re anticipating wanting other snacks, best to pick up when you’re in a bigger town / before you head back to hotel."

His knowledge of the area is unparalleled. His suggestion of hiking trails put us on the best hike that we have ever done.
