"The view from the balcony was amazing and the staff there were so friendly and helpful. There are lots of stairs (if you're on the top floor especially), so if you're like us and have heavy luggage then it'll be challenging. But beyond that, it was wonderful and I highly recommend this hotel (and the restaurant next door!)"

"Casa Vera is a wonderful guesthouse a few mins walk from the Duomo. My room (Primula) was clean and comfortable and I especially enjoyed the kitchenette and small balcony. I also loved the buffet breakfast which was served in the Cantina Vera. Highly recommended! "

"The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. I got a flat tire the day I was leaving the hotel and the staff went above and beyond to help me get the tire fixed so I could be on my way. The hotel is beautiful and the food was excellent. I also requested a more private room and the staff changed the room for me right away. Highly recommended for beauty, serene peace and quiet "

"Absolutely wonderful, luxurious, and somewhat of a hidden gem. The perfect base for the Tuscan leg of our vacation. Would definitely come back!!! But I wish I’d discovered all of the incredible saunas earlier in our stay :) Also, the spa treatments are very reasonably priced considering the luxe surroundings. Could have spent a week here. We had the most fabulous dinner there with other guests. The food was delicious. They paid attention to every detail. We would definitely go back. We highly recommend it. It was very close to Pienza 12 min drive and Montepulciano. LOVED IT!!!"

"We loved our stay! Beautiful property, excellent staff in all roles. Very friendly and helpful. We also did the aperitif and olive oil tours at the winery. Breakfast and dinner were delicious! And again very friendly staff. The only thing we missed was an air conditioner in our room. June was already very hot. Other than that it was amazing! We would return to this property in the future."

"The hotel has a sewage smell that was very off-putting. It was dirty and old with little care and/or attention to improve it. The town in which it sits is a ‘dying area’ with nowhere to go nearby. A couple of nice staff members worked here but overall it was very, very disappointing."

"Easy to find hotel and parking, although you do have to walk up a steep hill to get to hotel, fine for us and our children. The rooms are amazing, cute and quaint. They were very spacious, clean and comfortable. We traveled from Naples to Dubrovnik stopping in Tuscany for a few nights and this was one of our favorite stays! It was so beautiful! A great central location for all the towns we wanted to visit. Breakfast was delicious with a great view! Highly recommend! If we ever make it back to Tuscany we will definitely stay here! "
