"Lovely hotel was being repainted as we stayed just out of season. The pool and restaurant were great and the staff were very helpful. Be aware the hotel is a little remote from anything else out of season and there no real entertainment around out of season, however the area looks like it would be lively in the season but please note the hotel is still a fair walk to the next bar or hotel and 20 mins to the main strip so tuk tuk will be required "

"If you want a little time in a luxurious place with great service look no further! Stayed there a few days as a little treat for ourselves and we really enjoyed our time! On-site restaurant with attentive staff, good room service, wonderful swimming pool with a view and the owners live on site and are very kind people! Super close to Secret beach, a tuk tuk ride away from other great beaches... Recommend this place. Very new too so facilities are in great condition. "

"We loved our stay at coco tangalla. The staff was welcoming and kind and the location was amazing. The property is beautiful with a great pool and beautiful view of the beach (although you can’t swim there because of the rocks, but it’s great to watch crabs in the rock pools!) - food was very tasty (egg hoppers were especially good) and the room was comfortable and practical (not huge in itself but the bed was comfy and there was storage for our bags under the bed, and the bathroom was big). There was turndown service too which is always a nice touch. We’ll be back for sure! "

"This hotel has basic amenities and it's proximity to the beach is wonderful. The service is exceptional and the people who work there are so wonderful. This is not a luxurious hotel by any means, but would I stay here again, yes I would. Basic comforts were provided, including a mosquito net over the bed and a mosquito repellant plug in (much needed for the third friend who didn't have a mosquito net over her single bed). We were upgraded to an ocean view room on a top floor (lots of stairs), so we spent the majority of the day at their beachside cafe called Happy Lab. We came in April, so waves a little high but we managed to enjoy our time in the water. We took a stroll in the evening to check out other nearby beachside restaurants and settled on dinner at The Twins. Everyone was accommodating and we had a lovely time."

"Beautiful and special property. Outstanding customer service. Lots of low key and interesting activities. Great pool and gorgeous beach. The food could have been better and more fairly priced, but the staff was attentive to our concerns. "

"Wasn't very clean especially the bathroom. No where to place anything in the room, had to use floor. Poor lighting in room, only I of 3 lights worked. No toilet roll or soap provided, had to ask for toilet roll. No dustbin in room or bathroom. This is a homestay, not a hotel. Breakfast was good and they attanged a scooter hire for me. Sadly when I went to leave things turned nasty by both the father and son, claiming I needed to pay for the room and breakfast. I booked via Hotels.com a company I've used for more than 10 years and pay via visa online. I showed them the receipt but they wouldn't àccept it saying how would they get the money from Hotels.com, which really is not my problem. Their guests all come from Bookings.com, where payment is made in cash upon leaving so it's not my problem they have not set things up properly with Hotels.com. they called me a scammer, threatened to involve police, which I eventually I did by going to the police station. The father even slap my arm twice (Assault) in the UK and I told him I'd punch him if he did that again, which son has a video of. Even after I got Hotels.com customer services on the phone and he spoke to the son, he just couldn't accept that payment had been made, after the call, he even said maybe the call was a scammer too!! Unbelievable. Bottom line Police initially on my side but eventually said I needed to get cash and pay them, initially I refused but they threatened with arresting me, so I went and got the cash...."
