"The Pine Marten is very reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area. The hotel building is separate from the pub so no noise. The bedroom was clean with all facilities. The bed was (unlike in some hotels) very comfortable. Had continental breakfast each day at £6 odd. It was adequate but no yoghurt mixed with berries like at Premier Inn and Holiday Inn Express. "We had a phenomenal stay at the Ocean Mist. The rooms were so comfortable and well designed. The location of the boat was perfect for our adventures in Edinburgh and Leith, including its proximity to the tram. There are plenty of nearby restaurants that are steps away from the boat. We appreciated the breakfast to get each morning started each day. It was an extra plus to visit the bar and enjoy drinks on the deck, whilst enjoying the sunshine and people watching."

"Loved staying at Abbey Strand! Very historic building but with all modern conveniences. Quiet part of Royal Mile away from noise & traffic but easy walk to anywhere. No air conditioning but temps are generally cooler. Definitely recommend a stay when in Edinburgh."
