I just had such a great time and I didn't know much about the city before visiting. Again felt really safe and relaxed as a solo female traveler. Beach was within walking distance and shops were great. Excursions easily available to sightsee.

Brighton has lots to offer from shopping to the pier and beach to bars and restaurants. In places it looks tired but clear signs of investment and re-invigoration. Always surprises me that the general skyline looks a bit dated and drab.

Keith recommended a trip up the i360 tower and we had a fab clear day so it was definley worth it. We pre-booked tickets online, which meant we could just turn up and get a spot on the next ride up. Lovely day out :)

Great place to spend weekend with over 500 restaurants and 300 pubs. Just buzzing with fun. Take trip to Komedia for great comedy night.
"Lovely place next to the station and bus stop right at front. A few minutes walk to the beach and surrounded by quirky and colourful shops and restaurants. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of choices. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I recommend it. "
"The staff are exceptionally friendly - especially Harvey (sp?) on reception who made a super fuss of my 7year when we checked in. It was a lovely start to a perfect stay. "
"Great place to stay apart from the queues to check in. Breakfast self-service but good quality. All staff friendly and helpful. Bar prices a bit steep."
"The hotel was generally very nice, close to the station and well within walking distance of city center. There was a good selection for breakfast and the dinner menu has a decent selection. Only issue was the hotel had no parking and therefore had to park at the station carpark opposite which was very expensive and paid for separately. Need to take the cost of this into consideration when booking the room."
