"Another stay at the G and A.
My only criticism would be the need for heavier curtains in the room, as they are very thin so the room is extremely bright in the morning. "

"The place was okay. A bit tatty around the edges; our room bathroomfor example. Food all very good. Coffee out of machine is terrible.
Room was a bit warm and noisy - situated above pool area. Staff helpful and attentive."

"The Craigie had the best breakfast of anywhere we stayed during our trip to Great Britain. The room was plenty big for our family and had modern amenities. It was convenient for daily excursions to Edinburgh. It was also nice to have a big car park since we had rented a car for our trip. We would stay here again!"

"We had a lovely room, bit of a mix up booking in as our name was not on the list, but was easily sorted, just a wee bit attention to touch i would suggest,a few cobwebs and a dodgy bathroom handle, couple of lil holes in the lampshade next to the bed but on thw whole would certainly stay again, fabulous price for our 2 night stay, also gr8 location for regular public transport, well don to the team at Ravelston House, hope to see you all soon, and on a plus side entertainment on Saturday night was top...

"The lodge was nice, check in was easy and the lounge had cold drinks and bar service available. The room was comfortable but smelled a bit. Complimentary in room coffee, biscuits and a bit of sherry was a nice touch. Bus stop right out front. "

"About the only decent hotel in Edinburgh which seems to offer rooms at anything like normal UK prices. Rooms are very well equipped and comfortable if a tiny bit dowdy. There's a big free off-street private car park and an excellent bus service into the centre of town (we never waited more than a minute or two and journey only about 20 minutes) and to other parts of the city. The free bottle of wine for OneKey members was surprisingly decent though I did need to mention it at checkout to get it....

"Our room was spacious and very clean and had everything we needed. The toilet was separate from the shower room which worked well for us. I didnt find it too loud other than one or two guests slamming a door, but nothing I wouldnt expect from a hotel. Staff were helpful and breakfast was similar to any other good hotel ive stayed at. Plenty of towels in the room and the beds were very comfortable. The only minor inconvenience was the AC which worked but would reset to 23 degrees overnight no matter what setting it was on. Overall great stay and I'd recommend. "
"The staff were friendly and helpful, the room and whole building were clean and everything was in good working order. The television however was old and slow- difficult to really use because of this. Otherwise it was excellent!"
"Awesome location, great room, fabulous staff! Booked a tour of the castle through reception and the front staff were welcoming, friendly and very efficient. For my next trip to Edinburgh, I will stay here again!! "
"This hotel is located in the heart of Edinburgh, with a great view of the city. It's in walking distance of great shopping, pubs, and restaurants. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking is an extra fee and they have a very small lot. Breakfast is also an extra fee but was delicious with friendly service. I especially appreciate the chilled, filtered water they offer on each floor. We stayed in a "family room" that does not have air conditioning. But they had a fan available and it was quite comfortable. We were there at the end of July. "
