"Great hotel, fantastic bowling addition - was great to have a few games with the family. Dinner was ok, very little gluten free options on the childrens menu but the kitchen tried their best to accommodate a 10 year old. Our room was very spacious, only let down was the shower - this was broken, so trying to get 4 people bathed was a pain. "

"Lovely stay check in was quick receptionist was friendly . Room was clean modern and very spacious with a very comfortable bed and pillows ,we slept well as was was very quiet. We pre paid for breakfast as was cheaper it was good with plenty of choice .All the hotel staff were very attentive we were asked several times how we were doing and if they could help in any way . "Fantastic hotel and superb value for money. The room allocated to me was spacious and quiet. Breakfast also very good. The only niggling point was the warmth of the room at night - the desk fan helped but the room still felt a bit warm to sleep in. Appreciate not an easy fix! "

"Wonderful one night stay, the room was beautifully appointed with an extremely comfy bed and plenty of pillows. Great spacious bathroom facilities with a marvellous shower and plenty of toiletries. Easy to walk to from Leicester train station. Nice bar & restaurant area with great staff!"

"Great service from check in, around the bar and check out. Room was perfectly clean, clean bathroom with powerful shower. Extremely comfy bed and amazing pillows! There were no tea/coffee facilities in the room but free tea and coffee in the bar for members and it actually got you out of bed and up so this wasn’t an issue! Close enough to the arena to drive or taxi there, was around 5 miles, and the taxi cost £8. Amazing host, already pre booked another stay."

"This site was just greenspace on the edge of an industrial estate when I grew up here and it seemed a little weird pulling into an area where I had my first driving lessons on a Saturday morning as it was all but deserted over the weekend. Not now, there's a busy looking pub literally staggering distance away, the ubiquitous Greggs, few other structures the purpose of which didn't register. Very quiet, all I can hear is doves cooing. Staff friendly, nice to even have staff, last place I stayed was largely automated so only other humans were fellow guests. Complimentary breakfast, none of this £15pppn extra nonsense and much better than any £15 rip off offerings. Lots of guys in work gear and German accents so probably popular with service/installation engineers working at operations on the industrial side. One minor issue is the size of the car park. It didn't look to have much space when I checked in around 4pm, and was lucky to get the last one when I returned around 9pm after dining out. Does puzzle me as to why - in a era of expanding waistlines and growing obesity - are parking slots getting narrower? I'm not exactly Captain Lardy but even with sensibly/centrally parked cars, one needs to be like Stretch Armstrong or a contortionist to get in or out of the car without injury to self of damage to vehicle!"
