"From the start, we had a bad experience with River Bann Retreat. The communication was very poor- I had to chase them to respond to emails and you can’t reach them on the phone. Our main complaint is that Lodge 1 is advertised as a 2 bedroom lodge. It in fact has only 1 bedroom, with a bed and a sofa bed in the living room /kitchen area. Our guests had to go home because it wasn’t as described. The kitchen area is not well equipped. Very defensive staff when our issue was raised about the...

"We had a lovely stay! All of the staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough. Great vodka martini from the friendly barman (thanks.), and nice meal with generous portions. We had a superior suite which was so spacious. The coffee machine wasn't working - needed descaling - but after they came to have a look at it they brought us a pot of lovely coffee in our room which was much appreciated. My only suggestion would maybe be to update the mattress, it was a bit bouncy for me and my slightly knackered back but fine for one night. Would definitely stay again and recommend."
"The staffs are very attentive to our needs. And they will also cook a hot meal for you , upon request, during breakfast. Their coffee will be served to your table with a lovely aroma and great taste. And you can stroll around their beautiful garden . Will stay again with them whenever we come back❤"
