It was a shame to hear the Main Street through the town had recently flooded but, great to see the businesses reopening.

Cowes is lovely and we'd stayed a little bit further along the High Street last time, near the RNLI and it was nice and quiet so just avoid the area near the supermarkets when it's too warm to have the windows closed

Know Cowes of old - husband sailed there, mother lived there. Lovely to see it gain. Especially The Woodvale/Gurnard.
"This is the second time staying at the hotel and it’s been very good, the only areas that could be improved are the breakfast selection and the rooms having air conditioning. "
"Here as a wedding guest. Staff were excellent, very good sized room with all needs catered for. I found bed very comfortable although not for those who prefer it softer. Only fault was we had an iron but no board. I coped. Happy guest"
"It was clean, staff was very helpful and answered our questions as far as how to get around to London. They also kept our luggage at their office until we got a room. They also let us into our room ahead of scheduled which was nice after our disembarkation from a long cruise. Breakfast was really good as well. Highly recommended it!"
"We stayed as we were going to portsmouth dockside. I did originally think it was closer to more things but thats my own fault for not checking. Easy to access though from the roads so just nipped in the car the next day. We stayed 1 night, had a drink in the bar. Didnt eat so cant comment on food. Very clean and staff friendly."
"Beautiful harbour-side hotel with lovely views. Excellent spa.
My only niggle is that the architect over-complicated the lighting system. Our room had 9 light switches (excluding the one for the bathroom) and it was impossible for us to turn off the dimmed light in the entrance hall area - no matter what switch combo we tried. My son and his gf had the same issue in their room. "
