"Beautiful hotel with lovely view and big clean rooms but pool was not in use when we visited in early June and there was no where to sit out in the sunshine to enjoy the views. Dournanez was rather tired and shabby and spoiled by masses of graffiti everywhere. Such a shame."

È stata poi assegnata una camera dove per poter aprire e prendere un po’ d’aria c’era solo la porta d’entrata. unica piccola finestra nel bagno, camera umida e piccola e non abitabile.La persona che ci ha accolto parla esclusivamente francese . Surprisingly quiet given location aside from my window just above bar. Loud talking both nights until after 1100. But slept very well.

We couldn’t understand why if you stayed for seven days or less towels and bed linens were free but if you stayed for longer there was a charge?
Also apartment had to be cleaned before leaving but no cleaning products were provided "

"What a lovely place and hotel. This is not a Hilton. That’s what we loved. The room was huge. Ours supported with 12 inch wooden beams.
The underground pool is such a surprise. Perfect for a late dip or a way to start your day in the supplied robes and slippers.

"The garden at the Manoir is really beautiful, the rooms are rather small and we found that the matrasses need to be replaced. A maintenance upgrade of the property would be a benefit to the Manoir.
There is not much staff around, perhaps only one girl to run the reception and BF area, as well as two room cleaning ladies. Service is therefore not as fast as expected."

"I particularly liked the staff who were all very friendly. There was one in particular who was a model employee but I have forgotten his name. He did everything. Worked at the front desk, bar, kitchen, and he was very fast. He transferred our heavy suitcases with a smile and no fuss. His employer should be very proud of him.

"Gwenn at reception was amazingly helpful and courteous. I can’t say enough good things about her. Took time to work through problems with Hertz car rental. Room was clean and comfortable. My second stay in a Brit Hotel and will use them wherever possible. Rooms are basic but well maintained and have everything I need. Be aware reception closed at 2300. "
"We had a lovely week in this accommodation. The apartment was well equiped (but no conventional oven just a combi microwave) but tonnnes of plates glasses pans and a full fridge. The location is just a 5 min walk from the beach, shops and restuarants and there is parking either over ground (free) or underground (paid - think it is $8). There is a pool which was open all day.
We loved the area and enjoyed the sunsets which were stunning. There is a Carrefour at the edge of town for any shopping.
One down side was the internet which was almost non existant. This is just a watch out in case its important to you. We went to reception as signal was very strong there as had to send some work emails.
All in all this really is a lovely family friendly place. Its got limited facilities besides the pool but as its so well placed you can find these on the doorstep.

"The best bits were the staff, who were very friendly and helpful. The bed which was very comfy. The breakfast which was very good. The location which was quiet, had lots of parking and was an easy 30 minute walk to Quimper old town. Perfect for an overnight stay.
The not so great bits were we couldn't get wifi anywhere in the hotel. The room was very very small. The bathroom needed a good clean."
