"A hidden gem, the manor is tucked away on a domain easily overlooked. A beautiful house where we were by chance welcomed by the owner, chocolatier Daniel Mercier, with whom we shared stories and a cup of tea with chocolates. The room was gorgeous, fit for royalty, with a beautiful view of the grounds. Breakfast was top quality, heavy on delicious chocolate of course, well worth the caloric intake! Where the hotel really excelled was with it's abundant French breakfast of Juice,Croissant, jam, butter, bread and hot drinks. More than enough to prepare you for the day. The dinners were amazing. Hotels.xom could not help so booked another hotel to find that after 45 minutes of waiting for the lights to suddenly turn on! The person at the counter spoke no English and did not explain why they were closed without notice. I couldn't get refund on other hotel I booked.
