The restaurant was closed during our stay (because of the Bayonne festival), but the hotel was helpful in warning us in advance and recommending local restaurants that were open. "Great walking location for everything"

"Charming hotel in a lovely area. There was so much to do within a 3-10 minute walk of the hotel. Shops, restaurants, fresh food market, beach, etc. The room was very comfortable for 3 people. The bathroom was quite large with a nice shower. AC was a bonus, as was the mini fridge. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful in multiple languages. If you have mobility issues, know that you cannot drive up to the entrance. And the elevator is really tiny so we mostly used stairs. Parking is about a 4 minute walk with lots of stairs, and getting to the parking garage is a bit of an adventure. (Many streets in Biarritz are pedestrian only,) it’s also paid parking, with was rather expensive. If you can avoid a car in Biarritz, I would. It’s a very walkable place. "

"Great place to stay, staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms nice and clean and also serviced daily. Location is ideal, only a couple of minutes walk from the main part of the town, whilst being very quiet at night for a good nights sleep. Really can’t fault this hotel at all! "We loved our stay at Hotel Le Garage. The location was fantastic - peaceful and out of the hubbub of downtown but still very walkable to all the restaurants and nightlife. The room was much more spacious and well appointed than we had expected - we loved all the furnishings, and especially the comfortable bed. The bed had both down and synthetic pillows so you could choose your support. The staff was absolutely phenomenal - everyone was welcoming, thoughtful, attentive. We had a minor maintenance issue during our stay - the staff addressed it immediately in the evening, and fully resolved first thing in the morning. They even left a box of chocolates in apology - not necessary but very kind. The breakfast was delicious. 10 out of 10 would stay here again."

"Very convenient for arrival by bus from Biarritz airport. Very friendly and helpful staff at Reception and everything you need is provided for a self-catered stay. The studio apartment we booked for 4 people comprised a sofa bed and bunk beds but we hadn’t anticipated a sofa bed! It was ok, just not super comfy for sleeping on for 5 nights. Air conditioning was a real blessing! Overall great value for money!"

Otherwise wonderful location, nice walk to beach and town. Hotel as charming as the town -- be sure to reserve your parking spot!! They have limited space "

"Very cute boutique hotel with nice breakfast and spacious, clean boho room by the pool. It was walking distance from town but also had free parking as rental car was needed to visit surrounding area by car. I visited in summer when it should be hot but nice air conditioning in the room and breeze that kept terrace cool for breakfast. Staff was very sweet. I would definitely return."
