Ved begge overnatninger er vi blevet mødt af et venligt og imødekommende personale. Det møder man selvfølgelig mange steder, men her er der den lille ekstra personlighed og nærvær i servicen, som gør at vi kan slappe af, og nyde opholdet ekstra meget.

"This was a conveniently located medium-budget hotel, a short distance from the beautiful centre of Gengenbach. The staff were very helpful and friendly and I enjoyed my stay there. The room decor could do with a refresh and the shower was a bit leaky, but apart from that, it fulfilled its purpose really well. It is a great place to stay in that, once parked up, you are a short stroll to a selection of fine restaurants."

"This is the second time we are staying at this hôtel but the first time with our kids. The place is very nice, people are welcoming. The room is clean, comfortable and has all the necessary items. The breakfast is amazing and everything is delicious!

"Seems like a nice hotel with good spa facilities. We had a non smoking room, but it stank of cigarettes and the bathroom smelt unclean. The hotel staff didn’t speak any English (I no we were in Germany but basic pleasantries would have been nice) so don’t expect any help. Didn’t complain about the smell in the room as unable to make ourselves understood."

"A strange hotel, as it is part of a leisure complex. The building on the outside looks tired, but inside everything was clean and tidy. The breakfast was good and the price paid was excellent.
The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful and spoke good English. We were too tired to use the facilities but they were there if we has wanted to use them."

"Couldn't ask for a better location. Very clean and comfortable property with a surprisingly large room. The staff were extremely accommodating. Excellent dining and bar options all around."
"I really liked this hotel. It was right in the middle of the old town, next to the cathedral. Stepping into reception was lovely, as it was so tranquil after the busy street outside. The interiors are very chic. Our room was comfortable and a decent size. We faced onto the square behind the hotel and it was very quiet. The only noise was the church bells in the morning, but with the windows closed you couldn't hear them. Our only issue was that the air conditioner could only run for 80 minutes at a time. We managed to change the setting which was a big help. I would have liked the air conditioning to have been a bit more powerful as the room was quite warm, but it had been very warm outside and I don't like heat so this might not have bothered others."
"Overall a fantastic stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The family room was a great set up with 3 beds sleeping 4 comfortably. Bathroom was a bit small but very clean. Location is fantastic with just a few minute walk to all of the sights we would definitely recommend this especially for the price!"

"This was one of the nicest places we stayed in our whole trip (5 weeks). We had a two bedroom bungalow which was very modern and comfortable.
Major pluses:
The kids had their own bedroom with proper beds (separate single beds and not sofa / pullout style);
**TWO** toilets!
Clothing storage in both bedrooms including hanging space;
Free self-serve coffee in the reception area;
Plush carpet and very large couch;
Very convenient to Europa Park."
"5 star experience at this 4 star hotel. Impeccable service, great location, beautiful hotel and reasonable prices. Large bathrooms were a plus. The only critique is that i wish the A/C was colder and/or blew harder in the room. The room was cool-ish but at night I needed colder temps. I would absolutely stay here again. You are made to feel that they've rolled out a red carpet for you at check in (felt like a VIP) and they were sure to greet you any time you returned to the hotel. A++"
"The staff were very helpful and made us feel very welcome. Restaurant on site was delicious. EV charging very slow but gave us enough of a boost to move on to our next stop. We took a walk round the lake after dinner which was nice. Overall a very pleasant pit stop. "

We wanted to watch the British and Irish Lions test match on our laptop and they went out of their way to cast it onto their main tv for us. The rooms had a great vibe and view, offered quality amenities, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. It was a bit warm during our visit, so we really appreciated the in-room AC. The only drawback was our timing—visiting on a Sunday and Monday meant much of Obernai was closed, which made exploring a bit tricky. Still, it was a lovely overall experience!"

The room size was OK, but only one bath towel & no hand towel was provided, breakfast was good with lots of choices & coffee was excellent.
