Area is a bit quiet and there isn't much eating out or shopping around (except 2-3 restaurants and a single supermarket a town nearby), and 30-35 minutes from Bayreuth (and much cheaper to stay here than in Bayreuth during August when the Wagner events are going on).

The hotel is very close to town, no more than a 15 minute walk. The only problem I had was I had to have cash to get water and didn’t bring any so I had to run to the store to get water with my card.
