"Property is in the middle of nowhere. No food options and 7-11 shops nearby. Must use a motorbike or car to ge anywhere. Property lacks any amenities. Units are detached and can accomodate 1-2 people. The TV is basic with no options to stream. The bathroom is run down and desperately needs a renovation. When you flush the toilet the bowl leaks. Much better accomodation options in Phuket. Should only stay if no other options available."

"We spent 5 nights at Avista Hideaway for our honeymoon, and it was truly the highlight of our entire trip.
Upon arrival, we were delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade to a pool villa, which made our stay even more special. The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, going above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. We were surprised with thoughtful touches like a delicious cake, chocolates, and beautiful complimentary decorations in our room.
The villa itself was stunning—spacious, spotless, and perfectly maintained. The private pool was a true luxury and added so much to our experience. If it fits within your budget, I highly recommend booking a pool villa; it’s absolutely worth it.
Dining at the resort was equally impressive, with several excellent on-site restaurants, including one with a Michelin star. Every meal we had was outstanding.

"Very nice stay in a double pool villa. Efficient Check in/ Check out ( in the room), very efficient buttler trough whatsapp , room is big , clean, nice furniture, nice private pool and jacuzzi. Nice expérience ( barbecue inside villa, floatting breakfast in the villa, private yacht booking …) . 3 caviat: property is very big, you have private bike or buggy to call, beach club need to take a shuttle every 15min with 10min ride, lake or second pool not fully cleaned. "Stayed here twice sandwiching a trip to Kuala Lumpur. I repeat my comments from my previous review. I cannot rate this hotel to highly. It’s a beautiful setting on the beach. I think it has four swimming pools of course regardless of the facilities, the thing that makes or breaks any establishment is it staff. The people here are lovely and cannot do enough for you. The local resort of Kamala is only five minutes walk away and is a nice quiet strip of restaurants, bars and shops . No excessive noise , go go bars or being pestered . Ideal location for a family or mature people who like a bit of peace and quiet. However, if you want things a bit busier PATONG is only 15 mins away . I have been to Thailand probably 20 times over the last 40 years and this is my favourite hotel."

"My 4th trip to Pating, my first time at the Clover. I was really happy with this accommodation. Great location, very clean and nice staff.
The only negative for me was their Halal restaurant. I tried the buffet breakfast once but i felt like i was in Saudi Arabia not Thailand. I was not comfortable with the selection, no bacon=no breakfast for me. So i walked across the road and paid 450bht several times for a proper buffet breakfast at their competitor.
That was not a huge issue for me and i would definitely stay at the Clover again."
