58˚ Hotspring Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Very convenient, at the central of the town, lots of shops and restaurants around here, the room is clean and looks nice, $50 a night is good price for me"
"Beautiful townhouses in the property , we are in the one of the rooms in one unit~everything we were all very enjoyed! The breakfast was the best, it’s just like our home but with an awesome hot spring tub !! Definitely will come back if we have chance! "
"The service is great and it feels home. I love the hot spring tub in the room, it’s clean, comfortable and convenient. I enjoyed the happy hour every day at 5pm and movie night at 8pm a lot. Would def come back again :)))"
"This hotel is very conveniently located right next to the old street.
Hotel room includes breakfast and dinner which are fairly good taste.
Hotel room has good view and with private hot spring. But public hot spring spa in the hotel is well maintained, clean and offered many amenities.
Enjoyed both private and public hot spring in the hotel.
Would like to come back."
"Pros:
Brand new hotel
tatami room is nice
water playground/slides for kids
free mini bar
comfy beds and shower
private hot tub
Cons:
location a little far from the JiaoXi junction/food shops
no shuttle to bus station (approx 500m) but can take uber
Must wear swimming cap to be allowed to use hot spring pools but not communicated/advised on booking - considered unnecessary rules but if you insist then you must inform customers beforehand so we can prepare"
"It was amazing, we stayed on Monday and there was NO ONE IN THE HOTEL EXCEPT THE STAFF AND US. The breakfast was fine, elevator was good, the room had some space which is good. There was a really big shower and bathroom area and there was also breakfast. The outside view was good and the hotel was mostly awesome."
"The hotel is located in central yilan city and close to public transit. Staffs are nice. But the e cleaners is a big concern. There are mold everywhere on floor, ceiling, bathroom and tiles are all covered by mold. Very depressing staining in the room. The facility is old which is fine , but the cleaners need to be improved "
"This is our second time stayed in this hotel. We loved the huge hot spring pool inside the room. The location is unbeatable, close to both train and bus stations. We love the convenience and service! "
"Our three‑generation getaway to Art Spa Hotel—my parents, my wife and I, and our two young sons—proved to be a memorable and thoroughly enjoyable escape. The resort’s facilities are its greatest strength: multiple pools and hot‑spring baths, a spacious Jacuzzi, and a spiral water slide that turned out to be just as entertaining for adults as it was for the kids. After long hours splashing around, we sank gratefully into spotless rooms with large, comfortable king‑size beds.
The accommodations, though clean and well kept, did have a few quirks. Space felt tight once all our luggage was in, the glass‑walled bathroom offered little privacy, and the view from our window was limited to the rooftop rather than any scenery. Fortunately, we spent most of our waking hours outdoors enjoying the hotel’s amenities, so these drawbacks never came close to eclipsing our fun.
Breakfast followed the same pattern: it wasn’t a lavish continental spread, but it delivered a satisfying range of local dishes along with a handful of Western staples. Anyone accustomed to European‑style morning fare might find it modest, yet we left the dining room content and ready for another day in the pools.
All told, Art Spa Hotel struck an excellent balance for a family holiday. The minor inconveniences of the rooms paled beside the sheer variety of water attractions and the overall cleanliness of the property. For travelers seeking a family‑friendly hot‑spring resort with plenty of on‑site activities, it is "
"Excellent accommodations with private hot spring bath. Service was above and beyond. Afternoon tea and late night snacks in addition to the nice breakfast were all included. Really enjoyed our stay. "
"Property on the older side but was clean and had all the basics, AC, clean and comfy bed, sheets, a personal hot tub. Shower was stuck on tap, but managed to eventually change it to 🚿 head"
"I had a lovely experience with the absolute sweetest hosts. The couple hosting this stay were so welcoming, friendly, and made us feel right at home in such a cozy space. We really enjoyed getting to know them, and they also provided various suggestions to visit around the area. The property itself is beautiful with incredibly spacious rooms. Every morning at their restaurant next door, they cooked traditional Taiwanese vegetarian dishes that were delicious, hearty, and filling. We also wanted to ride bikes around town, and they were so kind to fix up some of their bikes and lend them to us for the day. I would highly recommend this place without hesitation, and would love to come back again."
