"The transportation options to and from the hotel are extremely unreasonably high in cost "

"I stayed 7 nights,The food in a la carte was always very good, we couldn't try the mexican restaurant because they closed it for the last 4 nights that we stayed there. Buffet was also good, they rotate menus and the quesadillas at breskast time are something you MUST try!! Drinks were good too and they were always willing to prepare upon request even if they didnt know how to prepare it... my dad would get a spresso from.the cafeteria and had the bartender prepare him a carajillo drink, for example. Staff were friendly and housekeeper was very nice too! Expedia advertises the hotel has yoga but I was told there were not doing yoga due to lack of people wanting to do it but if I wanted to do yoga they could have a class for me, and so they did!! My 8 yrs old son loved the kids club and the stuff was very caring! Overall was a good experience,. I do have some observations. There are no water sports like kayaking, paddle boarding or body surfing and that's something people going to the beach may be looking for. There are SMOKING AREAS but one of them is just right NEXT to the KID'S CLUB!! for kids health it should be moved, maybe by the beach/adults pool area would be a good locating. Rooms need to be updated and would be nice if there was a microwave in the room since either you have dinner early in order to be able to see the show or after the show. In our case we had to make reservations at 6:30 and by 11 that the buffet was closed my husband and my kids were hungry"

"I really love the area and hotel is gorgeous. The ala cart restaurants were great, but they only give you two for a four day stay, There’s only one option for breakfast “the buffet” and I was not able to make that work. But I’m a bit of a food snob I guess. The highlight of my stay was taking a boat tour from a private fellow by the name of Gabe. He took me and my two kids just around the corner to Los Arcos for an hour or so to snorkel, he was diving deep down and flipping over rocks and bringing up the coolest sea life for us to look at, then taking it back and placing it under the same rock. Quite the experience. He then took us down to “las Animas” the most gorgeous beach about 15 minutes south, an we ate at a restraint called Jorge’s. It was unreal! And we ate and drank right on the beach in our bare feet. Gabe told us to take all the time we needed. It was definitely our best day in Mexico and I would highly recommend tracking down Gabe, he gave us a great deal, we had the boat to ourselves, and he made the experience so amazing. "

"I really enjoyed our stay, it was really spacious we did the one bed and it looked like an apartment the bathroom was spacious, came with a living room area/ kitchen. the staff was great and there was security at night walking around. i would stay here again its really family oriented so if you have kids its perfect! "

"The hotel and staff were great. It's just a short walk to the Malecon, and there are plenty of shops and food stands nearby, which made everything very convenient. My only complaint is that the pool doesn’t open until 10 a.m., and you have to go out to the beach to get and return beach towels. Not a big deal, but a bit inconvenient. Beach towels need to be returned in order to check out no exceptions unless you want to pay a fee. Overall, I really liked the hotel and would stay here again if the price is right."

"The staff is terrific from check in to check out. Very attentive and friendly. I thought the food was very good, varied and always available. We mostly visited the buffet, my husband prefers this over the dining experience. The restaurants were open air it was very warm for dinner reservations. Pool and bar staff were great. I highly recommend floating out in the bay, warm water, gentle waves, so relaxing. I do believe the pools are due for an update as the tiling is worn and missing in some spots. I’d also like to see the playroom have longer hours for the littles. It was very difficult to walk by with our two year old who couldn’t go in when she saw other children playing inside. They were only allowed in twice daily during posted hours. We learned the hours and avoided walking past during off times. Overall it’s a great resort, with friendly hard working staff, comfortable beds), good food, and a beautiful beach location. Our family of eight (2-72) had a great time."

"We just got back from a stay at Club Regina and honestly, we loved it. Right from the start, the staff were so friendly, polite, and genuinely helpful — it really made a difference. The location is amazing. You can watch the sunset every evening and it’s just beautiful — one of our favorite parts of the trip. Breakfast was another highlight for us. Every morning there was a delicious spread with plenty of choices, and everything we tried was fresh and tasty. It’s true that the property is a bit older, so there were a couple of small hiccups here and there. But what really impressed us was how quickly the management stepped in to help out and make things right. Big thumbs up to them for caring so much about their guests. Overall, we feel Club Regina gives you excellent value for what you pay — great service, stunning views, and a warm, welcoming vibe. We also want to give a special shoutout to a few people who made our stay extra special: • Rene and Alexis — the chefs who made every meal so good. • Carla and Antonio at the front desk — always kind and ready to help. • Damien, the activity manager — he kept things fun and lively. • Adriana Sanchez, the general manager — it’s clear she runs a great team.
