"The villas were just lovely and very comfortable. The resort does a nice job of keeping the beach pristine and the surrounding gardens are beautiful. Our only complaint was the food wasn't very good, esp. given the high price compared to anywhere else in Thailand. But there are closeby local options (when open) that are easy enough to get to. "

"If you are not have with your own transport you will need to get taxi from airport which is 600 bath for every ride. They do not provide transport to nearby convenience store/restaurant even though they are in middle of nowhere. Walking is not possible either since it sits straight on highway and there are dogs in area.
Given that restaurant is mediocre at best you should account for 2400 bath more per night for transport.
Property is seriously neglected, give vibes that it was great 10 years...

"Fantastic resort, one of the best we've ever stayed at. Room was beautiful and modern, pool was gorgeous, breakfast buffet was excellent. Bed was so comfortable, service was perfect. We hiked the dragon crest trail which starts just steps from the hotel, which was amazing. The only two negatives that I noticed - they had some stray ants around the exterior, and a few managed to make it into our room over our two night stay, and the restaurants were quite expensive, about 3x the cost of a comparable bar/restaurant off premises. Those were minor things though, and we'd definitely visit again. "

"It's directly on the beach which is gorgeous and there is a hidden cove around the corner there is also easy access to Long Beach, so when the beach is in the shade you can go to Long Beach. You can use the accommodations canoe to go round the island to another gorgeous deserted beach. I like the fact the restaurant has sand underfoot. It feels quirky and authentic. The rooms are massive and the decor is very tasteful. "

Breakfast was good and made to order. There is no elevator, however, they have staff that attend to luggage. Be aware that the entrance is on the harbour side, tucked away in a corner. They will also charge you 2000 cash upon arrival for a security deposit. "
