"Overall our stay at Medewi Bay Retreat was wonderful. Since this was our first trip to Bali, we didn’t have a lot of experience with the different areas of the island, and didn’t realize how remote this area was. We knew Medewi was a very popular surf destination and nearby to Negara, but other than that it is a far more rural/remote area than Kuta, Changgu or Ubud.

"There was poor internet access and not able to watch any tv shows for almost a week!!! At outdoor kitchen were infested with lot of ants.And those dishes were not even cleaned and stored away. Bathroom dirty towels were even reused in bathroom cabinet without changing for fresh cleaned towels. Also at nights, there were loud noises including loud music and conversations right next to our cabin. Very distrurbing noises thru the nights..will never use this resort ever again.."
