They had a bad tornado a week before so things were still being cleaned up from that. Ate at Dexters Bbq and it was fabulous.

It seems to be a nice community with a variety of businesses for its size. We did go to the movie theatre the one night we were there. The theatre is really nice and fairly new.

Seemed like a small town but things were easy to get to and plentiful. It wasn't a stop off an interstate in the middle of BFE with no food or store options.

Best Western Plus Sikeston

"Room was clean and the AC was excellent. Breakfast was good with a variety of hot food like sausage, biscuits, scrambled eggs and sausage gravy. They also had toast, bagels, a waffle maker, packages of oatmeal, cereal and yogurt. Coffee, juice, hot tea or coca and apples and oranges. The price was excellent and I will stay there again whenever I am in the area. Just a couple of miles to Lamberts."

"Excellent staff, amenities, cleanliness, and free breakfast. Property is well lit and visible from windows. The property is near the highway so you do hear trucks and motor cyclists unfortunately, but I would stay again if passing through as it seemed much better than nearby options and hotels."
