"Great place to stay."

"We stayed at Halo House for a week, it’s our home away from home. The front desk crew is very friendly, helpful and informative, they always greeted us with big smiles. Breakfast is “ western style”, quiches were delicious, coffee was great . Breakfast is made to order, so the wait is a bit long. We had the family style room, the toilet room is separated from shower room, I felt the toilet is very cramped . For bedding, besides regular pillows, they even offered neck comfort pillow , which surprised me.They should have neck pillows for sale on site. 15th floor is public area for who stay there, gym is clean, self-laundry area is clean. For transportation, we relied on Uber, Halo House is at the corner, easy to find a pickup spot. But it’s a bit far from subway or mainline bus, however the overall environment is peaceful and quiet. Halo House is just across from Maple park , and around the corner from Taichung Theater , which I loved to have morning walks . "

"This was a great and relaxing place to stay. I was happy with the location and ambiance. The front desk was friendly and helpful. Would put this in my top 3 places to stay next time I return to Taichung. "

"Loved the room configuration. Comfortable bed and comforters. Clean. Easy check-in. Close to Whisker cafe. Staff were nice and easy to work with (just remember this isn't a 5-star hotel, so don't expect 5-star service). We enjoyed our stay. Only con is the w/c could use more ventilation. It had a musty smell. Overall, the hotel room was very clean. Would stay here again."

"We stayed in the Deluxe Family Room, which was perfect for the 4 of us because of its space (2 full beds, 2 showers) and adjacent TV room with a sofa. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet (Chinese food, fruits, pastries) and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The smart TV allows you to cast if you have streaming services overseas. The surrounding area has convenience stores but there is a need to ride a cab to major attractions or train station."

"Beautiful hotel and property. Second year staying here and it’s so convenient to my son. There are so many shops and the mall right across the street. I love staying here. I will definitely be back. Walking distance to so many sights and activities. And the staff is so kind and helpful. Helped me with many needs. I highly recommend this lovely hotel. Only negative was that my mattress was so hard and firm. I have back issues and need a soft pillow top mattress. Next year I will request a softer bed. "

"The room and bathroom were excellent. I never mentioned toilet in all my previous reviews, but the bidet toilet in our room was great to use and had all the widgets you can dream of. The breakfast buffet was extraordinary. The selection was huge and the foods were tasty. Just don't go there during public holidays as it will be very crowded, like what we had experienced. We were there during the May Dragon Boat Festival. We were given a table at breakfast, then we all got up to get foods. When we return to our designated table, there were other people sitting at our table. The staff was very apologetic and got us a different table quickly, so all is well. In general, it is a good and luxurious hotel."

"This resort is quite good and very spacious. As a family of four, we had plenty of room and felt very comfortable. The amenities were also impressive. Complimentary snacks, beverages, and coffee(pods)—a pleasant surprise, as these are usually not free in many other hotels—were available throughout the stay. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choices and a large, airy dining hall. Since we stayed on a weekday, there weren’t many other guests, so we could easily pick what we thought was the best table, with a beautiful view of the fountain in the front yard. In the afternoon, we spent some enjoyable time at the pool in the backyard. My sons had a lot of fun playing with water and water guns. While it’s not comparable to a water park in terms of attractions, it is still a great feature to have. Later, we bought discounted tickets to the amusement park, but unfortunately, we had to return them due to heavy rain. The lady at the counter was very understanding and processed the refund without any questions, even though the reason for returning the tickets was obvious. The parking lot, like everything else here, is spacious and conveniently located on the L1 floor. It's free until the evening on the day of checkout, which is another plus. Overall, we had a great experience. I hope we can return one day."

"My second time staying in this hotel. Great amenities like complimentary usage of washing machine and dryer, drinks at the lobby and snacks in the room. Walking distance to shopping mall and railway station. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is complimentary and good. "
