Lots of places to eat and shops open even right at the end of season (greek people live here). Lefkada is heavily based around Ionian yachting and tourism but there is still lots going on. Fantastic Lidl on the way out of town if you need to stock up

We were welcomed like family and when the time came to leave we parted like best friends. It is the place for those who value true down-to-earth luxury with no hint of opulence and appreciate how remarkably affordable it can be. And we loved the architecture! The location is convenient and quiet, off the busy road but very close to main routes, a short walk to Nydri town and KTEL bus stop.
