"Obvious that previous / recent occupant had smoked in the apartment and still smelled of cigarettes. Everything in the kitchen was dirty and sticky, needed to clean thoroughly before using. Reception staff good. Accommodation basis but very good value."

"Perfect budget hotel for an overnight stay. Other reviews were critical but let’s be honest, it’s not a 5 star hotel but it is perfectly clean and decent buffet breakfast. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. Easy parking and a 20/25 minute walk to the cathedral and old town where all the bars and restaurants are situated along the canal. "

"Very friendly staff. Comfortable bed. My family and I felt very safe and welcome at this hotel. Very close to Beaumont Hamel Memorial site and the other Trail of the Caribou sites as well. Great breakfast. We stayed two nights and ate dinner at the Beluga (hotel restaurant) one evening. Food was delicious as were drinks. Reasonable prices. Great staff. "

The front desk was accessible and pleasant, going so far as to return my sunglasses that I had lost during check in. There was some noise in the early hours due to traffic outside, which the hotel cannot control"

"Intersting place to stay, i'm from the UK, easy to find, street parking is plentiful. Owner was helpful even though my French speaking is poor. Room has all you will need, especially for the price. Its not the Ritz. Plenty of places around to eat if restraunt is closed. Slept like a baby and will be back another time when my customer needs me. Thank you :)"

"No staff work during the night, very noisy all night people arguing going in and out of various rooms. Corridors had no lighting. Very unpleasant and unsafe. I don’t recommend and I won’t be staying again. Awful experience "

"Excellent place to stay. We extended by one night. Clean and comfortable with street parking. Front desk staff were very helpful. My only concern is the 150 euro bond money has not been returned to my card yet. It has been six days since we checked out and have sent two messages to the hotel but not received any response. Our stay was very good and the kitchen let us have home cooked meals. Apart from the return of bond money would recommend this hotel."

"I didn't understand the logic that check-in time is 4pm but check-out time 10am. I arrived at 1 PM after a whole night travel, and I requested for early check-in but they said room is not cleaned yet. They said to wait 2 and half hours. They could have easily cleaned the room innl 20 minutes and let me check-in. The office staff is rude, doesn't understand English. "
