We have stayed in North Vancouver 5 times now and have always had wonderful experiences. I prefer it to staying in downtown Vancouver which we have done numerous times as well. North Vancouver is much quieter and less busy.

North Van is Vancouver's hidden secret; quieter than VanCity, easy access across the water when you want it, lots of dining and shopping, and great access to nature.

super cute in north Van, grown a lot in the last few years. nice neighborhood
"Stayed here for 3 nights in July 2025- property is a great location and our room had an awesome view of the harbour. Tons of shopping and eating options. Staff was super friendly and helpful when we had questions around public transportation. We were interested in lots of hiking in the mountains which this hotel is close to (about a 20-30 minute bus ride depending on where you are going). It’s a bit more of a jaunt if you are doing things downtown - so plan to be away for the day if that is the case. Overall experience was great!"
"We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy and charming place. From the moment we arrived, the host was incredibly kind and welcoming. She made us feel right at home and took the time to explain how to get around the city in a safe and budget-friendly way, which was extremely helpful.
The location is very accessible, and the atmosphere of the place has a cozy, antique touch that makes it even more special. It’s a very pleasant space—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We definitely recommend it and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

"Absolutely loved our stay! Crystal was the sweetest host — warm, attentive, and always available, no matter the hour. She made us feel so welcome and taken care of. The breakfast was delicious and made with love. A true pleasure to have met her and to have spent a night in such a cozy, charming place. Highly recommend!"
