I love Whitehorse! I enjoy the sights and people, and how it is easy to get around. I appreciate the friendly people but would love to see in Whitehorse are local Indigenous vendors who can come into hotel lobbies and sell/display their artwork.

You might have seen Northern lights along the Canada USA border, but up here, it is entirely a new phenomena! I recommend everyone come in the winter for a couple of days to witness them.

Great place to enjoy nature, with lots of options from dog sledding to aurora viewing, skiing at Mount Sima, just outside the city, snowshoe, snowmobile and wildlife reserve. The place is calm and quiet, the people friendly, good dining options.

Whitehorse is a small government town. Not much to do in town for a visitor, but there are good excursions out of town and there are a very good range of restaurants.
