"This was the worst place I've stayed in. I booked a deluxe room. The furniture was cheap laminate and was falling apart. There were several spiders and we saw two cockroaches and a milipede in the morning. We booked for two nights and couldn't bear to stay so left after one night and forfeited the cost do the second."

Our booked Meerkat experience was cancelled due to heavy rain but Theo offered to rearrange that for the following morning - and we are so glad not to have missed that! "La Plume was gorgeous-the best place that we stayed during our journey of the Garden Route. The suites were so nicely appointed and super spacious. The breakfast was delicious and we were disappointed that we missed dinner (it was only a 3-course meal). I loved taking a bath in the beautiful bathroom and went for a run at sunrise through the ostrich farms. It’s only about a half hour from Cango Caves. My only regret is that we could not stay longer. This is definitely a place we could spend a few days to rest. "
