Long Island City is a walkable, up and coming area, adjacent to the prestigious neighborhoods of NYC's upper east side and close to Astoria's ethnic culture. Very quick access from LaGuardia and by car or subway connected to the rest of NYC.

This place has parking which is unique. The neighborhood is funky - one of the few remaining around NYC - like Brooklyn only 30 years ago. Great Irish pub with excellent food a few blocks down. IATSE and Teamsers hang with lots of big studios around

Lived in NYC in the late 90's and 00's. It was not a place people talked about. Since coming back I seen some difference. More residential buildings. Looks like Manhattan is crossing the east river. The future is promising for LIC.
