"We only had breakfast. The pancakes were tough had to cut it up with a knife. The bed was okay BUT the a/c didn’t work properly. Turned down to 60 end room was still hot! Desk guy just said “Sorry for the inconvenienc”. Water pressure in the shower was minimal. We NOT be staying there again"

"I had to be moved to 3 different rooms tne first room had water all on the bathroom floor the second room was awful smelled like a cigarette factory with a smoke detector dangling from the ceiling and the hotel supposed to be 100% smoke free the 3rd room.was just ok and the water is not hot at all. I usually have no issues at a candlewood but this one aint it!! "

" I don’t often leave a review and I hate to leave a 10 out of 10 review but this property deserves it. It is a real gem in a small town in south Louisiana. Staff were very friendly and helpful room was quite comfortable. Parking was easy which was important because I was pulling a boat trailer. The hotel has an adjacent restaurant which was closed on Sunday sadly but was open for lunch on Monday. Never had a better Poboy. Definitely on my list for a revisit when I am in the area. "
"This was my second time staying here. I love this hotel so much. It was so luxuriously comforting! My daughter and I felt so good. The beds are so cozy. The room is dark and cool. The shower was lovely. It is so clean and well maintained. The lady at the front desk was super nice and caring. Thank you so much for such an exquisite experience!"
