The Pine Grill across the street is excellent. Get the chicken parmesan! Take a walk on the main street. Interesting historic. Very old cemetary also nearby.

I was in town for a high school reunion. Haven't been here in many years. Sure has grown a lot on those years yet downtown and surrounding areas outside of the town limits still look much the same as those many years ago.

"We had a great stay here. Just a couple of issues. We used the online link to pre-register, I even submitted a snapshot of my drivers license. All of this was to speed up the check-in process. When we arrived at the front desk, they had no record of our pre-registration and we had to go all through the process again. Another issue was that we thought the window air conditioner was broken. The controls on it did nothing. When we mentioned it at the front desk on our way out to get dinner, we were told that the controls were on the wall. It might help customers if a sign or sticker indicating that the air conditioner controls are on the wall was placed on the window air conditioner. The staff at the front desk says this happens all of the time, so a sticker would definitely help customers. The room was clean and had a refrigerator, microwave, queen sized bed and working TV with a channel guide. We had to leave early in the morning for our event, so we didn't have the opportunity to partake of the offered breakfast. Thank you Days Inn for an enjoyable experience! "
