The free ferry (& the nominally priced ferries) are always a winner. Fort Wadsworth is a must see. The view of NY harbor is spectacular. Deninos pizza was delish. Definitely worth an extended weekend. Didn't bump into Pete Davidson though.

Staten Island gets a bad rap on TV shows (for examples where police officers get assigned to put their careers on hiatus), but it is filled with many middle class and above neighborhoods and a lot of cultural character. I is underrated.

I'd recommend the Staten Island Zoo for sure and this is a really easy area to drive around compared to other areas of New York City
