Even from the hotel, the scenery is spectacular. Sandstone formations and igneous monoliths dot the surroundings to the north. Black Mesa, which native people considered sacred, lies directly to the south. It's amazing wherever you look.

The people I met were pleasant, kind, friendly, service was great and the area is quiet so there's a peaceful atmosphere to the area, and with the beautiful natural surroundings, it's just lovely.

Monument Valley is only 40 mins from this spot. They have food vendors on the side of the road that serve cultural food. Very yummy!

We were unaware that this property is on a reservation. Certain parts of town are very run down, and I'm sympathetic to the local economic factors. Everyone at local restaurants were very friendly, the places were clean, and the food was great.

A nice place to visit some vagrancy noted around shopping area. A little un-nerving.

"The scenery is BEAUTIFUL. My colleague locked herself out of her room after hours. She was back in her room within 5 minutes. Local, friendly staff. The rooms aren't spectacular but you're literally in the middle of nowhere so it felt like a 5 star. Would book again."
"This was a great place to relax and unwind from exploring Monument Valley. It was just a 20 minute drive. History in area of western films. Updated and improved property. The Views Are Amazing. Just down the road you can get access to the river to have a relaxing float. You have to eat at the Swingin’ Steakhouse. The steaks and burgers cooked to perfection. "
"The hotel has amazing views and is overall clean and well kept. The staff were very nice and were able to accommodate us a bit early. A few things did bother me though. Upon arriving to my room there a really strong smell of disinfectant which triggered my headache. The food from the restaurant was ok for dinner (we had the burger with fries, chicken tenders, and chilli) . The free breakfast buffet was not good at all. The eggs were tasteless, bagels were hard, and there were no fruits or anything healthier to eat besides light and fit yogurt. Everything served in paper plates, disposable silverware and styrofoam cups."
