"i am very familiar to Sweden, especially Ystad and Simrishamn, but that’s not a very important factor, when it comes to why i love that hotel. I wish there were a way to upload photos and videos to give a more detailed review. First of all, i am a big fan of antics and buildings that have been around for decades, and this building offers that sort of reach into the past vibe. The rooms and hallways are adorned with interesting portraits and posters of artists and celebrities, and it’s one of those places that still use an actual key to access the rooms (there’s a digital entry at the main entrance as well. Everything is nearby, the city hall, the train station, lots of shops and restaurants, all within 2-15 minutes from the hotel. Do not rent a car. it is simply NOT needed! I had the privilege to enjoy breakfast at one of the locations where they shot the tv series Wallander (Netflix.) My room opened into the small courtyard, and it was simply a much appreciated add-on. If you’re a writer and want to have some quiet time to chill or write…this is a place to consider. I will definitely go back, despite having the option to stay with friends and family. "

"This boutique hotel was an unexpected delight. In a nineteenth-century building made comfortable for the 21st century while preserving some of the feel of the past. Staff were warm and helpful. Fantastic breakfast buffet that caters to a wide range of preferences. Friendly advice for first-timers--it's in the walking area of Ystad so don't expect to drive up to the door. Very cheap parking is nearby though. "

"I had a wonderful stay at Bed and Books in Glemminge. The B&B is located in a beautiful area and close to Ystad. Lena, the owner of Bed & Books, is a good hostess, kind and very helpful. She enjoys talking with her quests, is genuine, and that is always important in making them feel welcomed! I would definitely recommend and will return to stay again. Thank you."

Our superior room with sea view was wonderful, comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised there was a coffee maker and refrigerator in the room (it was not specified on the website). Our only “discomfort” was when the group of cleaners convened outside our door every day before they started work, and again on their break. "

"Firstly, be under no illusions, this is a fairly basic B&B. There's no sauna/swimming pool or any of that stuff. But it IS clean, comfortable and quiet (well, we were the only guests as it was way out of season). The owner could not have been more helpful, friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was plentiful, and beautifully presented, with questions such as "How thick do you want your porridge?" If you're looking for good basic accommodation that's clean and welcoming, with an owner that wants you to be happy here, then this is all of that. Would definitely stay again."

"I recently had a fantastic stay at this hotel and couldn't be more pleased with the experience. From the moment we arrived, Jessica and Marie at reception were amazing. They greeted us with warm smiles and made the check-in seamless. Their attention to detail and willingness to assist with any requests truly made our stay special. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The hotel itself was incredible, the decor, atmosphere and ambience was second to none. "We liked it so much, we stayed another day. We very much appreciated the free parking right out front and breakfast as included. The bar downstairs was handy and the staff was very helpful. The room was spacious and gave us room to spread out. Bathroom was small but functional. "
