"We arrived at 730am and requested if we can check in earlier. We were told a code will be sent to my email by 4pm but it never came. So we went back to the front desk and informed them. A very rude receptionist told my husband, it’s sent by their system and just wait. We have waited for almost 8hrs already and this is totally unacceptable. "Had an amazing stay at the altapura, read a few reviews a few days before we went and were worried, but it was great. Main complaints were about how hot the rooms were, which were understandable, but opening the window solved that. The other critique we read was about the restaurants and choice of food for half board. Breakfast was buffet and had a great selection. Dinner you get 65 euros contribution each evening towards food, which you can choose from the menu of the 3 different restaurants they have. European, Japanese and a cheese place. The food is all cooked fresh and to a great standard. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the hotel is in my opnion in the perfect location, ski in skin out, not far from several ski lifts, but not in thr centre of town so you don't get all the noise and footfall. Beds were really comfy, overall had a great experience and will be back next year! "

"The option to ski in and out of this location was perfect. The residence was quiet. Staff was frindly and helpful. The lobby could use an upgrade of its furniture. It was strange not to have a sink in the toilet area in the apartment, this seems like a strange design to me. The kitchen had all sorts of pots, plates, and everything needed for cooking.
Bring soap, condiments, toilet paper, tea and coffee as these are not supplied.
We had a minor issue with the fuse in our apartment but the maintence man was so helpful and responsive, he fixed the problem in under 5 minutes from the time I spoke to him. Very hard working staff."
