"This is the highest quality Ryokan I have ever stayed in and the individual service is outstanding. However note that this is in Zao Onsen Miyagi prefecture, not the more famous Zao Onsen Yamagata prefecture. Nowhere on the hotels.com website indicate this. This is reached from Sendai, not Yamagata."

"The spa is quite far out but has accessable buses from Sendai Station. The onzen was wonderful and clean. Staff was very friendly and spoke english. Only word of caution is unless you eat at the hotel, dinner options are limited and youd have to walk into town. Still a wondeful experience and would definitely stay again if we are in the Miyagi area. "

"This hotel provided excellent services from check in to check out. Staff were friendly and professional. The room was spacious and clean, with a very nice view. The onsen experience was superior as the hotel had different onsen pools for guests to enjoy, and the changing room was also very neat and clean. The buffet dinner and breakfast were great, which offered a wide range of quality food choices. There were also many free-of-charge facilities and services available for guests to enjoy -...

"Perfect stay. Great food, relaxing atmosphere and amenities. The only point (which is not critical) is the ensuite bathroom that was kind of outdated."

"This was a convenient hotel to see the Aoba festival . It is easy to get to the station and shopping area.
Itโs a good budget hotel in spite of being a bit dusty. "

"This hotel really deserves stars. Even a standard twin is good-sized. The hotel and the room are both in immaculate conditions. The staff are vety helpful. Would definitely recommend it."
"Surprised by the large space of the room and bath, no problem to accommodate our group of three people. Sendai Daikannon also visible on good weather. Although not located in city centre, it's next to a DFO complex so shopping and dining are just several minutes walking away."
